Apologies for not having written in the past 4 weeks but I was on holiday in Greece. I have made up for lost time though as I am now on Chapter 7! I solved the Cloakwood dilemma by finding a secret door allowing me to attack from the side. I lured out the guards, black talon elites, wizard etc one at a time and cut them to pieces with my awaiting party. I also stumbled across a replacement for Jaheria. His name is Yeslick the lawful good dwarven fighter/cleric. He had about 10,000 more XP than Jaheria plus about 10 more hit points and more spells. So Jaheria met a little accident (heh heh heh) to separate her from her hubby Khalid. Yeslick is armed with the excellent War Hammer +2 (5-8 points of damage) and a sling. After kicking Daverons butt down at the bottom of the mines I went off to Baldurs Gate to deal with Zhentium (Feel my wrath for it is great!). After I wiped the floor with Zhentium (and his mates) faces I lugged my full plated behind off to Candlekeep to deal with the Iron Thrown and to have a little heart to heart with their leaders. Unfortunately I was accused of their murders and was put in prison! Good old Tethothoril saved me once again by teleporting me into Candlekeep catacombs. There I fought a few hundred skeletons armed with composite long bows and halberds (nasty seeing as they attacked about twenty at a time). Also I fought a whole load of doppelgangers, which was a pity because I didnt have the Bastard sword +3 verses shape-shifters. Hacking and slashing my way to the exit (past a greater bassilik or two on the way) I escaped back to Baldurs Gate to clear my name. Aydin you owe me 152 bananas in back payments.
