Half-Elves are usually much like their elven parent in appearance. They are handsome folk, with the good features of both races. They mingle freely with either race, being only slighly taller than the average elf (5' 6" on average) and weighing about 150 pounds. They typically live about 160 years. While they do not have all the abilities of the elf, they are still somewhat resistant to sleep and charm spells and are adept at finding hidden objects. Half-Elves also have Infravision up to 60' from their elven parent. Of all the demi-human races, half-elves have the greatest range of choices in character class. A Half-Elf can choose to be a Cleric, Fighter, Mage, Specialist Wizard, Thief, Bard, Fighter/Cleric, Fighter/Druid, Fighter/Mage/Cleric, Cleric/Mage, Fighter/Mage, Fighter/Thief, Mage/Thief, or Fighter/Mage/Thief. The only Specialist Schools that Half-Elf Mages can choose are Conjurer, Diviner, Enchanter, and Transmuter. |

U indicates that expansion in the profession is unlimited. However, higher levels can be obtained than the ones listed above if hte character's prime requisite is exceptional. If the prime requisite is 14 or 15, an additional level can be obtained. If it is 16 or 17, two additional levels are available. 18 allows three, an d19 allows four. |
